The fine print, in plain language
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
OSO runs on straight talk, and that includes how we handle your information. This page explains what we collect on osoptimization.com, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Operational Systems Optimization, LLC (“OSO”, “we”) is an operations consulting and digital services company based in Adkins, Texas. Questions about this policy or your data go to info@osoptimization.com or 726-610-5676.
Information you give us
When you book a consultation, call, email, or fill out a form, we receive what you share — typically your name, company, email, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your business. We use it to respond, prepare for the conversation, and follow up.
If you take a self-assessment on this site (like the Owner Dependency Test), your answers and score are stored together with the contact information you enter, so your results and our follow-up are actually useful. Forms and assessments on this site are processed through Jotform.
Information collected automatically
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Metricool to understand how the site is used — pages visited, how you got here, device type, and general location. This helps us make the site better.
Visitor identification. We use RB2B, a service that may match your device and network information against third-party business databases to identify professional profile information — such as name, job title, company, or LinkedIn profile — for some U.S. visitors. We use this to understand which businesses are interested in OSO and, occasionally, to reach out professionally.
In plain terms, per our identification vendor: when you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout.
Partner links. Links to our partners go through our own tracked links (osoptimization.com/go/…). When you click one, we log which partner you visited, the page you came from, and basic browser information — so we can show partners the business we send them. The log does not include your name unless you've separately given it to us.
Cookies and similar technologies make these tools work. Your browser settings let you block or clear cookies at any time.
Partner & referral links
Some partner links on this site are referral links: if you do business with a partner after clicking through from our site, OSO may receive compensation from that partner. This never changes the price you pay, and we only list partners we'd send a friend to. Recommendations inside our consulting engagements remain vendor-neutral — we don't take kickbacks for the tools we recommend in client work.
How we use information
To operate and improve the website, respond to inquiries, schedule and prepare for consultations, send relevant follow-up, and understand our audience. That's it.
What we share — and what we don't
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that keep OSO running: website hosting (Vercel), scheduling (Google Calendar), forms and assessments (Jotform), analytics (Google Analytics, Metricool), and visitor identification (RB2B). Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email info@osoptimization.com and we'll handle it. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. To limit automatic collection, use your browser's cookie controls or a tracker blocker — the site works fine either way. To opt out of visitor identification and the advertising described above, visit https://app.retention.com/optout.
Data retention
We keep contact and client information as long as we have a business reason to — an active conversation, an engagement, or legitimate follow-up — and delete it when we don't.
Children
This site is for businesses and their owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes get a plain-language note, not buried fine print.
